Marinate the Chickpeas

Mix cooked chickpeas with finely chopped ginger, garlic, lemon juice, oil, salt, and spices like garam masala and chili powder.

Baking the Marinated Chickpeas

Bake spiced chickpeas in preheated over to get toasted flavors in them.

Sauteeing Onion

While chickpeas are baking, cute diced onion with some ginger and garlic in little oil

Cooking Tomatoes

Then add diced tomatoes and raw cashews. Cook the mixture until tomatoes softens.

Seasoning with Spices

Add some coriander powder and cumin powder to the tomato mixture. Mix well.

Puree Tomato Mixture

In a blender blend tomato mixture to get smooth puree

Cooking tomato gravy

Season the pureed tomato-onion mixture with garam masala and salt.

Add Toasted Chickpeas

Now add toasted chickpeas to the cashew-tomato gravy. Mix well

Serve Warm

Serve warm with naan bread or plain rice.
