When not in the kitchen and not working on the articles you will find her meditating (practicing Sahaja Yoga) or talking on the phone with her near and dear ones.
A little background
She grew up in the Central and Western part of India. She spent most of her childhood with her grandmother who was a farmer all her life. Even in the city at her parent's house, they practice urban vegetable and fruits gardening. Ever since her childhood, she has had an affinity toward cooking using locally grown farm produce and dairy products.
Therefore, it is no wonder that Watch What U Eat came into existence.
Education and Experience
She holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) in the field of Dairy and Food Engineering. She designed and developed a continuous rice pudding machine for her thesis. This machine has the potential to benefit industrial food processing and large catering businesses, for example.
