    JUMP TO RECIPE

Simple, quick, and easy greek yogurt breakfast bowl recipe for busy mornings. Made with easily available ingredients like yogurt, banana, and strawberries.

    breakfast bowl

I always look for something easy to make and healthy to eat for busy mornings. So, this breakfast bowl recipe is tried and tested as one of the frequent breakfast recipes that we enjoy in the morning. There is no doubt that yogurt is important and beneficial for our health, especially the stomach. And we both love yogurt, which is another reason to have it in the morning.

    Ingredients you will need

    • Greek yogurt - use plain and low-fat greek yogurt as a base for this breakfast bowl.
    • Fruits - use fresh strawberries and banana slices to build up the flavors.
    • Sweetener - I prefer to use honey. However, you can use regular sugar, maple syrup, agave, etc.
    • Granola and nuts - for added crunch, use your choice of nuts and granola.
    • Vanilla extract - use it to flavor the yogurt base.

How to make a Greek yogurt breakfast bowl?

In a small mixing bowl, combine greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract; mix well. Then add toppings like slices of fresh strawberries, banana, and crushed nuts of your choice. Finally, top it with crunchy granola. If you love chocolate and then use this chocolate-flavored homemade granola.

Yum looks great. Do you know if you can omit the yogurt and replace it with milk? Thanks so much

You can use milk instead of yogurt, add more granola and have it as a cereal bowl.
